AFCON 2025: Holders Cote d’Ivoire include Zaha, Seri in final 26-man squad 

Defending champions Cote d’Ivoire on Tuesday unveiled their final 26-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.

Head coach, Emerse Fae named former Crystal Palace winger, Wilfried Zaha and Jean-Michaël Seri in the squad.

Zaha, who has impressed with Charlotte FC in the Major League Soccer, MLS, this season, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists, is making a return to the team after nearly two years.

Seri also returns after a long injury layoff.

Fae however dropped Simon Adingra, who was named Best Young Player of the Tournament on home soil at the last edition.

Nicolas Pépé was also not included despite playing regularly for Spanish club, Villarreal this season. OGC winger, Jérémie Boga, was also excluded.

Côte d’Ivoire are drawn in Group F alongside Cameroon, Gabon and Mozambique.
