According to Completesports, Egyptian team Al Ittihad has finalized the acquisition of Nigerian striker John Ebuka. Ebuka has signed a two-year deal with the Alexandria club. The 28-year-old striker joined Al Ittihad on a free transfer after parting ways with Al Masry, another Egyptian club. He will be reunited with manager Ahmed Sami, with whom he played during his time at Ceramica Cleopatra. Additionally, Onyedka contributed to Club Brugge’s victory over Union SG, securing their record-extending Belgian Super Cup title. He joined Al Masry in January and managed to score once in 12 matches. In contrast, Ebuka scored 33 goals and provided eight assists in 114 league games during his previous time with ENPPI, Ceramica Cleopatra, and Masry. It is worth noting that Al Ittihad has also recently acquired another Nigerian player, Isaac Saviour, who played for the NPFL club Rangers last season. Other new arrivals to the club include Abdelrahman Boudy, seasoned goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim “Genish,” Ahmed Mahmoud, and Mohamed Sami. By Adeboye Amosu
