At the end of the prayer of Eid el-Fitr at the Great Mosque of Dakar, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, delivered a message of fervor, unity and responsibility to the Senegalese nation. He took this opportunity to express his wishes and reaffirm his commitment to the aspirations of the people. In a context marked by the strengthening of family ties and solidarity, the Head of State stressed the fundamental values which must guide every citizen: ” On this sacred day, I invite every citizen to cultivate the spirit of solidarity, of listening and of overcoming. Senegal needs all its forces to advance in harmony. Let us continue to build a nation of peace, brotherhood and equity. I’m not sure. President Bassirou Diomaye Faye took advantage of this religious celebration to reiterate his attachment to a governance of proximity and integrity.
