Nottingham Forest finished seventh, securing a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League for the coming season. Despite speculation about a potential transfer to clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City, Aina remains with Forest. He signed with the Reds on a free transfer in July 2023 after leaving Serie A team Torino, and has since played 59 matches in all competitions, netting three goals and providing two assists.
