Ola Aina has identified Arsenal’s star winger Bukayo Saka as the top player in the Premier League. Aina, who plays regularly for Nottingham Forest, was asked about this during a guest spot on the football podcast Filthy Fellas. The 28-year-old confidently shared his opinion on who he believes is the most consistent player in the league. Although members of the panel hoped he would choose Mohamed Salah, he chose a different forward. When asked who he considers the best player in the Premier League, Aina said (according to the Daily Mail): “He performs every game, every game.. “Yeah – Saka.” When asked for his opinion on Salah, Aina responded: “Mo Salah is among the best.” Saka has netted five goals and provided 10 assists in the Premier League this season, while Salah has scored 15 goals and recorded 11 assists. The Arsenal forward is set for an extended absence due to a hamstring injury incurred during their 5-1 victory against Crystal Palace. Mikel Arteta indicated that Saka might be sidelined for “many weeks,” with concerns that he could be out until March.
