​Aïssata Tall Sall pleaded for equity and justice 

  During the session devoted to the lifting of the parliamentary immunity of the Member of Parliament Mouhamadou Ngom, alias Farba Ngom, Aïssata Tall Sall, president of the parliamentary group of the Takku Wallu Sénégal coalition and the accused’s designated representative, delivered a remarkable speech. ” Have we been fair to our colleague? According to her, the process lacked balance and transparency, calling into question the Assembly’s impartiality. “We must be a just assembly, a sovereign assembly, an assembly of rupture”, she said, calling on her colleagues to fully understand the scope of their decision. In conclusion to her plea, Aïssata Tall Sall invited the deputies to decide in all conscience and in all responsibility, under the watchful eye of the Senegalese people, recalling that history will remember the decisions taken today.
