Completesports reports that Birmingham City, a club in the Sky Bet Championship, is interested in Chuba Akpom. Akpom is anticipated to depart from Ajax this summer as he has lost his position within the team. The 29-year-old forward played for French side Lille during the latter half of the previous season. The forward scored three goals and provided one assist in 16 matches for the ex-Ligue 1 champions. Akpom signed with Ajax in 2023 following an impressive season where he scored 28 goals in 40 league matches for Middlesbrough, making him the top scorer. He was also awarded the title of best player in the Sky Bet Championship.
