Former Leicester City player Marc Albrighton revealed that Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was substituted in the second half because of an injury he sustained in the first half during the match against Leicester City.
Iwobi was replaced by Adama Traoré in Fulham’s 2-0 victory over Leicester City in Saturday’s Premier League match. In an interview with Premier League World Feed, Albrighton mentioned that Iwobi was substituted because of an injury.
“The substitution was due to an injury or a knock.” I believe Alex Iwobi was outstanding in the first half. As I mentioned, the combination between him, Smith Rowe, and Robinson on the left side was clearly where they generated their best chances, so I suspect it must be due to an injury.
