Almadies: the building of Amadou Loum Diagne put up for sale by the courts at 1.4 billion FCFA

A high-rise building at Almadies 4, on the boulevard de la Corniche in Dakar, will be sold at public auction on 9 September 2025. The property is valued at 1.4 billion CFA francs. According to the newspaper Les Echos, the building, registered as a property no. 2.098/NGA (ex 22.922/DG), is the subject of a procedure initiated by AFRIKA Banque Sénégal (ex BDK), represented by Me Babacar Ndiaye. This judicial operation directly concerns Amadou Loum Diagne, a well-known figure in the business world, as well as Fatimata Daga Cissé. The sale price of this judicial sale is set at 1,4 billion CFA francs, or approximately 2,13 million euros, with a bidding price set at 1 million CFA francs. The announcement of its sale creates a lively interest in the real estate environment, where each parcel already reaches record sums. The adjudication hearing will be held on 9 September 2025.
