Midfielder Michelle Alozie of the Super Falcons has shared her joy as the team claims their 10th championship title. Morocco took the lead quickly with goals from Ghizlane Chebbak in the 12th minute and Sanaâ Mssoudy in the 24th, fueling hopes for a victory on home soil. However, the Nigerians had different intentions. Esther Okoronkwo’s penalty in the 64th minute sparked the revival. In the final minutes of the match, Jennifer Echegini scored the decisive goal in the 88th minute, dashing Moroccan dreams and securing Nigeria’s top position in African women’s football once again.
