The affair involving the SCI CTS, in which the name of the singer Wally Seck has been cited, has a new rebondissement. According to the daily Libération, the Pool judiciaire financière (PJF) has carried out new arrests in the framework of the dossier opened by the Cellule nationale de traitement des informations financières (CENTIF). According to the newspaper, after the interrogation of the manager of the establishments Saliou Sylla, two other people were arrested: Ibrahima Ba, son of the former Prime Minister Amadou Ba, and his driver Cheikh Tidiane Seck. The latter had been designated on an official document as “manager” of the SCI, set up with the son of the former president, and suspected of having received large financial transfers. According to Libération, the depositary of the account of SCI et de la société STS SARL is also the subject of the CENTIF’s investigation into suspicious movements of funds. Bank leaks dating back several months had fed the investigators’ suspicions.
