Springs – Amapiano artist Manqoba ‘Snqobzin’ Xulu’s (20) passion for music started young because music was at the centre of his family. Manqoba creates private amapiano classes, clap and tap, which results in amapiano.

“I have always wanted people to feel a sense of peace and comfort when they listen to my music, so that motivated me.

“In 2023, I started making music. I discovered this amazing app called FL Studio. That is when I started crafting my songs,” he said.

He looks up artists like Mick Man, Kelvin Momo and Ennosoul and has worked with Soulistic L, J Soul, Deep Mneva and Novi Da Deejay.

“I also wish to work alongside De Mthuda, Kelvin Momo, Mathandos, Ennosoul and Ginger Stone. I have worked on a few projects – Bloodline, Hear My Heart, Tea Party, Patience is Key and Letter To My Soul. I will drop a single titled Nights and featuring Termi Neato on March 29,” he said.

Manqoba said his goal is to become a successful, influential artist who continuously impacts people’s lives.

“I want to provide endless inspiration and hope. I have always wanted to heal people, but that was impossible, so I found a way through music,” he added.
