​Amuneke Strengthens Heartland with New Additions Before 2024/25 NPFL Second Phase    

 

Heartland FC has finalized the mid-season transfer of four players as the club’s Technical Manager, Emmanuel Amuneke, enhances his squad for the latter half of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, according to Completesports. The second segment of the season is scheduled to start next weekend, with teams looking forward to getting back to play after making new signings and ramping up their preparations. The Naze Millionaires, currently ranked 14th in the league, have brought in four new players after a careful recruitment effort spearheaded by Amuneke. Leading Heartland’s mid-season signings is 29-year-old midfielder Anthony Chukwudi Omaka, who has formerly played for Enyimba and Kwara United. Omaka moved to Kwara United for the 2022/2023 season after leaving Enyimba. Additionally, attacking midfielder John Bassey from Bayelsa United has also joined the Owerri-based team, along with Terdo Shimangade from Nasarawa United. Daniel Ekpo Victor rounds out the group after joining from Abia Warriors. Heartland will play against Lobi Stars in an important matchday 20 event at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.
