Contrary to multiple media reports, actress Joselyn Dumas has yet to receive any government appointment, the Minister of State for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has revealed.
Speaking during a recent interview, Ofosu said the trending news about Ms Dumas receiving an appointment is false.
He confirmed that the NDC government has named many creatives to crucial roles but Josely Dumas is not one of them.
“Miss Dumas has not been appointed to any such position. I can confirm that of the rest,” Kwakye Ofosu said.
Earlier this month, amidst a wave of appointments for creatives to numerous government roles, news started trending that Joselyn Dumas had been named the Deputy Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President.
