The base of the Compagnie sahélienne d’entreprises (CSE), located in the Yadjine district of Tivaouane, was the target of a main armed attack in the night from Thursday to Friday, APS learned from security sources. Around twenty men, armed with firearms and blankets, stormed the premises of the company CSE, responsible for the construction of the Tivaouane-Pire motorway, according to the same sources. The assault, which occurred at about 2:30 in the morning, was of a rare violence. The assailants, armed with rifles and firearms, tied up two guards and broke down the doors of a dozen offices, including that of the accountant. A safe containing approximately 700,000 CFA francs has been removed. A third security agent, managed to escape, and gave the alert. On their arrival, the elements of the urban police station of Tivaouane were unable to assess the damage: broken doors, looted premises, traumatized personnel. The evildoers had already disappeared. The attack was planned.
