Arnaques QNET: Ousmane Sonko remembers the victims and calls for vigilance

Asked by members of the Senegalese community in Côte d’Ivoire about the proliferation of QNET-related scams, Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko did not hesitate. Far from pouring in the attended empathy, he chose to make a mise au point brutal mais assumée.. “There are some things you can’t ask the state for. The truth is that sometimes, the Senegalese like to be made to laugh. An individual who comes from nowhere, who opens his office with two chairs and makes impossible promises. If you take your money to give to him, you don’t come afterwards to write a letter to President Diomaye”, he said amidst the laughter of the audience. While being critical of the lack of discernment of some victims, Ousmane Sonko nevertheless assured that the State had not remained inactive.
