Arsenal have confirmed the signing of England international Noni Madueke from Chelsea in a transfer worth £52 million, as part of their continued summer rebuild.

The 23-year-old winger becomes the Gunners’ fourth major acquisition of the window, following the arrivals of Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Madueke joins after two-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge, where he scored 20 goals in 92 appearances and helped Chelsea secure the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup titles.

Madueke was first linked with a move to the Emirates in late June, and talks progressed quickly between Arsenal, Chelsea, and the player’s representatives.

The former PSV Eindhoven forward is expected to add depth to Mikel Arteta’s attacking options.

Arsenal are also reportedly close to finalising deals for Cristhian Mosquera and Viktor Gyokeres as they prepare for their pre-season tour of Asia, with fixtures scheduled against AC Milan, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
