Arsenal have included Lookman on their list of potential signings for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Arsenal has pinpointed Ademola Lookman of Atalanta as a possible target for the upcoming summer transfer window. The 27-year-old striker has had an impressive Serie A season, netting 13 goals and assisting five times in 28 games. In total, he has scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. Lookman is anticipated to leave Bergamo after a successful three-year period with Gian Piero Gasperini’s team. Reports suggest that Arsenal is one of five Premier League clubs vying for Lookman’s signature, along with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle United. His outstanding performance has attracted the attention of top European clubs, and his estimated price tag of €60-65 million may pose a challenge for some potential buyers. If Arsenal signs Lookman, it might signal the end of their interest in Athletic Club star Nico Williams. Lookman has made significant progress since his previous Premier League experiences, accumulating 50 goals in 115 matches for Atalanta, including a notable hat-trick in last season’s Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, the reigning African Player of the Year is set to play when Atalanta faces Monza in a league match on Sunday. Atalanta currently holds third place with 65 points, trailing league leaders Napoli by nine points after 34 matches. They will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 1-1 draw with Lecce in their last league game, hoping to take advantage of Monza’s poor form, having lost their last five matches. Additionally, Lookman and his team head into Sunday’s match with a strong record of five consecutive wins against Monza.
