Arsenal is rumored to be pursuing transfer deals this summer for players from Chelsea and Barcelona.

Reports from RMC Sport suggest that Chelsea may be letting go of forward Christopher Nkunku in the upcoming transfer window. The 27-year-old has found it difficult to secure consistent starting positions this season, having spent 18 out of his 27 Premier League games as a substitute. He is reportedly interested in moving to a club that will compete in the UEFA Champions League. Additionally, Enrique expressed his frustration regarding PSG’s recent home loss to Nice. Reports suggest that both Arsenal and Bayern Munich remain keen on acquiring his services, having previously shown interest in January. Additionally, Arsenal is reportedly gearing up to make a move for Barcelona defender Jules Koundé, according to the Sun. The Gunners are expected to present a £55 million bid for the 26-year-old, aiming to beat Chelsea to his signature. However, securing Koundé might prove challenging as he is under contract with Camp Nou until the summer of 2027 and has been a vital player for manager Hansi Flick this season. On the other hand, Arsenal’s chances of winning a trophy this season hinge on the UEFA Champions League. They are on the brink of losing the Premier League title to Liverpool, who need only one point from their remaining five matches to claim the championship. On Tuesday, Arsenal will host Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, marking their second clash of the season after the North London side defeated the French team 2-0 in the group stage. Despite facing the defending champions Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, Arsenal triumphed with a 5-1 aggregate win against the 15-time European champions.
