AS Roma Ladies are considering making an offer for Super Falcons winger Omorinsola Babajide, according to Completesports. Reports indicate that the Italian club Il Romanista is keenly interested in the adaptable winger. Babajide has recently become a free agent after departing from the Spanish Liga F team, UD Tenerife, last month. The 28-year-old is presently representing Nigeria in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. In her two appearances for the Super Falcons at the tournament, she has achieved one goal and one assist. Babajide is anticipated to make a decision about her future post-tournament. Last season, she scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 26 league matches for Tenerife. Previously, Babajide represented England at the youth level but switched her international allegiance to Nigeria in 2023. Most of her career has been spent in England, playing for teams such as Crystal Palace, Millwall Lionesses, Watford, Liverpool, and Brighton & Hove Albion. By Adeboye Amosu.
