Since June 2024, the Délégation générale à l’Entrepreneuriat Rapide des Femmes et des Jeunes (DER/FJ), under the direction of Dr Aissatou MBODJI, continues its commitment to the economic empowerment of women and youth, with a renewed approach: closer, more performant and inclusive. The institution consolidates its presence throughout the national territory and strengthens its role as a driver of economic transformation. In one year, this strategic framework resulted in the allocation of 58 409 credits to 40 879 project promoters, for a total volume of 29 4093 billion FCFA. In line with Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko’s guidelines on the territorialization of public policies, the DER/FJ has engaged in a dynamic resolutely geared towards proximity and territorial equity. In order to respond effectively to the needs of the population, the DER/FJ is based on an ambitious territorialization strategy, which is concretized by the opening of 45 départementales antennes to bring financing and support services closer together. This proximity policy allows for a better understanding of local realities, the construction of adapted responses and a better follow-up.
