Montreal Canadiens beat Vegas Golden Knights 3-2
The problem was even more challenging in Las Vegas after two of the most remarkable seasons of the time, which included back-to-back victories over the Panthers and Lightning. The Golden Knights are the best home group in the NHL, but they don’t show it against the Canadiens. In one of the best victories of the time, Montreal spotted Vegas two before roaring up to score the following three. The Canadiens have won three immediately victories while traveling on some of the league’s top teams. Wilde Horses The best plus/minus center in the whole group, Jack Eichel, became yet another heart that Nick Suzuki was handle efficiently. This street trip pits the bottom line against some of the best players in the world for robust defense sports. Suzuki’s range faced Aleksander Barkov on Saturday, and it did also against Brayden Point on Sunday. These simply aren’t two of the top ranking areas, they also are two facilities on ranges with the best 200-foot activities. In this one, the Suzuki line basically outperformed the Eichel line in terms of quality and success. The Canadiens scored late in the second period as Juraj Slafkovsky won the ball fight, and he immediately fed Suzuki, who saw Cole Caufield left by himself at the other end of the web. It was target range 100 in the profession of Caufield. That is 19 on the time for Caufield, setting a rate of 42 on the season. The play in the middle of Suzuki provides the primary series for the repair, which you rely on a solid, finished goods. He is a significantly underrated person. Emil Heineman is another addition to the team this year. Heineman has shown a love for the internet and has an excellent 200-foot activity as well. With nine goals in a year, he almost always costs the group. His third-period goal put the game at a two-goal lead. Heineman deflected a level killed before skillfully leaping on the rise to send it home. Matvei Michkov and Macklin Celebrini are the only rookie with the third-highest purpose complete, behind Heineman. The Canadiens made a remarkable comeback two minutes after, taking the lead. Josh Anderson blocked a photo before turning it over to center, where Kirby Dach was in a 2-on-1 lead. Dach made an attempt to move Patrik Laine, but it did so through Adin Hill. On the road trip, Dach has three objectives. Related News

Samuel Montembeault was the winner in this one, Hill vs. Montembeault. One of the two did see and watch as one of the two plays for Canada in the Four Nations. It’s benefits Montembeault, as the saves in the last moment to keep the prospect were world-class. These times, the Canadiens won’t give up. There is conviction. To reach a playoff spot, the street is 7-4 in each 11-game section to the end of this season. In the following 11 activity set, they have already won two games and lost none at 7-4. Wilde Goats After some excellent defense games, the next column was up to be the club’s main concern, with two objectives in the beginning 20 minutes of Vegas. Early on, it was Dach with a raffle that led to a 3-on-3 dash that didn’t seem that dangerous, but finally Alex Newhook didn’t get a person to handle. Laine lost the ball in the final ten seconds of the beginning period, and Dach was caught on the wall too soon, allowing a second goal. It’s amazing to discover Suzuki take on the best centers in sports while still managing to stay level nevertheless. On the time, Suzuki is a beautiful plus-one on the year, while Dach is minus 22.4: 55
Call of the Wilde: Habs crushed by PensThe variable for the entire team in targets this year is minus 15. Suzuki’s series is also. The Jake Evans series is a little plus by two targets. Christian Dvorak’s range is significantly bad by two objectives. Basically, the whole imbalance is the next line. It was anticipated that the Dach line would tighten up on the defensive end as well given the goals that the second series is then scoring. Unfortunately, for the Canadiens, it remains a work in progress. The center is typically held responsible for defensive liability, but Dach does not accurately share that position with Laine and Newhook, two well-known defensive veterans. This line’s development of a strong defense center is the simplest correct. The targets are coming, but the variable is always the bigger, and more important, history. Wild Cards to prolong Jake Evans or not to extend him. That is the question that has been most frequently pondered by French enthusiasts over the past month. At the age of 28, the focus is shifting to giving Evans a great deal to retain him there. Evans is a unrestricted free agent. His commitment present is possible for four years, but it’s more likely to be three. The annual salary could be as much as$ 3 million. It might be even more. There are 32 groups, and it only takes one desperate group to be crazy just to make a splash. The advantage of the Canadiens filing Evans before he starts listening to other teams on July 1 is that Montreal is aware of what they have in him. They are aware that Evans is capable at this time. Knowing that he fits is comfort for both the business and the player. The negative aspects of Evans ‘ career are that a general manager doesn’t want to pay for a player’s past. Hughes wants to make money for his coming. Furthermore, does Hughes need Evans in the future? Before Hughes can target Evans with between$ 12 million and$ 14 million, he must make sure he needs the player. At the moment, this is a difficult statement. If Hughes needs a second-line heart, therefore Dach becomes a second line heart. For the third line position, candidates Owen Beck and Oliver Kapanen must compete. Evans is currently a third coat. He is actually the best third line in the NHL, scoring 25 targets in addition to Carolina’s 18 targets. The organization wants Beck and Kapanen to stay in the minors for very long, though. They are shut to set. 5: 06
Call of the Wilde: The Habs win 2 in a rowIf Dach can increase his play and get a bona fide second-line centre second season, then Evans could be the next liner and Beck or Kapanen the forward liner. Oddly, Dach’s play, good or bad, impacts Evans status with the club. When he considers how to evaluate this Evans season, Hughs also recalls Rafael Harvey-Pinard. Given that Harvey-Pinard’s contract was based on his best season of his career, he is still thinking about it. Harvey-Pinard got 14 goals in 34 games. Because he had a shooting percentage of 24, a sample that does not continue, it was impossible for him to duplicate that. Evans has similar numbers. With 10 goals in 36 games, it’s his best season of his career, but his shooting percentage suggests he can never match that. Evans has a career-best shooting percentage of 10, but this year, he is at 31 per cent. At 28, Evans didn’t just learn how to snipe at 31 per cent. The best shooter in hockey each year doesn’t do 31 per cent. Charlie Simmer of the Los Angeles Kings has the best shooting percentage in a season in the history of the league, and he is 33. Buyer beware for Hughes because he has already lived through Harvey-Pinard because what you see from Evans is not what you get. Thankfully, on the first day of 2025, Hughes has time to assess this decision. He will first consider whether or not he would prefer a second-line center over Dach. If he gets the right answer on Dach, he may opt for Evans. Evans has an extra that he can’t afford to spend if he needs a better Dach. To be continued.
