B3 Funeral Services will host its 20th Annual Golf Day on September 12 at Benoni Lake Club.
The charity event aims to raise awareness of the daily challenges faced by people in townships like Kwa-Thema. Through this event, companies have each sponsored between R10 000 and R120 000 to participate.
The event will provide a platform for business executives, captains of industry, sponsors, and friends of the B3 Group to exchange ideas and form meaningful partnerships.
B3 chairperson Matthews Mogafe, who was raised in Kwa-Thema, said he is committed to helping those in need.
“I understand the suffering of our people. Something that may not seem important to you can be a great need for someone else – something as simple as sugar,” Mogafe explained previously.
Initially, proceeds from the golf day were dedicated solely to benefiting the Kwa-Thema Stimulation Centre.
The proceeds were used to help develop the centre from a temporary structure into a permanent one. For more information, call Katlego Mogafe on 082 806 4447 or email kmogafe@b3insurance.co.za
