Gareth Bale, the former winger for Real Madrid, has shown a strong interest in purchasing Cardiff City. The 35-year-old, who hung up his boots in 2023, had his initial bid for the club turned down by the current owners. During a press event for the premiere of F1: The Movie, Bale commented, “We are looking to acquire Cardiff.” It’s the club from my hometown, where I was raised, and my uncle played for them. Being part of an ownership group would fulfill a lifelong dream.
