Bandits attack Kebbi villages, many feared dead 

Suspected armed bandits have attacked Jindani and Mai Kaho villages in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State, leaving several people feared dead, many injured and others abducted.

The development was contained in a post shared on X on Friday by security analyst Bakatsine.

According to the post, the attackers stormed the two rural communities late at night.

A aged woman was reported to be one of the victims who lost her life in the attack.

“Fresh attacks by suspected armed bandits have struck Jindani and Mai Kaho villages in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State, leaving several people dead, many injured and others abducted. Among those killed was an elderly woman.

“Residents say the victims were innocent civilians with no links to armed groups. These communities lie within a forest belt that has long suffered repeated violence, displacement, and deepening fear, as attacks continue to spread across villages in Nigeria’s North-West region “ Bakatsine wrote.
