
Two residents were killed after armed bandits attacked Gidan Goga village in Masari Ward of Kafur Local Government Area in Katsina State.
The incident was disclosed in a post shared on X on Tuesday by security analyst Bakatsine.
According to the report, the assailants invaded the community at night, attacking residents and causing panic.
Two villagers were killed during the incident, reportedly while attempting to resist the attackers.
The bandits were also said to have made away with a significant number of livestock.
āLast night, bandits attacked Gidan Goga village in Masari ward, Kafur LGA of Katsina State, killing two residents who reportedly confronted them and rustling a large number of livestock,ā Bakatsine wrote.
He further raised concern over the recurring nature of such attacks: āHow many more communities must endure this before there is a decisive and sustained security response?ā
