Those who thought about a possible conflict between President Bassirou Diomaye Faye and his Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko can review their copy. The Head of State was obliged to remove all ambiguity this Monday, on the occasion of the ceremony of handing over the general report on the National Dialogue at the Presidential Palace. “There is no difference between the Prime Minister and me. He is my friend. There is no conflict. I will continue to ensure the smooth running of the mission that the Senegalese people have entrusted to us, namely to focus and concentrate on the priorities of the Senegalese people”, declared President Faye. This point was made after the proposals of Ousmane Sonko, on Thursday 10 July, during the installation of the Conseil national de Pastef-Les Patriotes.
