The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, assured French entrepreneurs in Paris on Wednesday 26 August of Senegal’s will to be “an open and ambitious partner”. Special guest of the seventh edition of the Rencontre des entrepreneurs de France (REF), the Head of State delivered a speech presented as “strong” by the Senegalese Presidency. “With French companies, Senegal is ready to play and win together the match of the future”, declared President Faye. On his arrival at the REF, the Senegalese Head of State was welcomed by Patrick Martin, President of the Mouvement des entreprises de France (Medef), in the presence of Baïdy Agne, President of the Conseil national du patronat du Sénégal (CNP). In the margins of this meeting, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, who has been in France since Tuesday, also had a breakfast with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
