President Bassirou Diomaye Faye participated on Monday in the 42nd session of the AUDA-NEPAD (Agency for Development of the African Union) Steering Committee, which focused on the transformation and sustainable development of the African continent. During this meeting, the Head of State reaffirmed Senegal’s commitment to a sovereign, resilient and prosperous Africa. Emphasizing the strategic role of education, he stressed that “the future of Africa rests on a well-formed youth prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow”. In his speech, the President stressed the need to align training with global changes, notably in technology, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. These declarations reflect an ambitious and proactive vision to position Africa as a major player in the world economy, based on its human resources and its technological potential.
