  The Deputy Mayor Farba Ngom is summoned this Thursday, 13 February 2025, at 12 noon by the College of Investigating Judges of the Judicial Financial Pool in the framework of the investigation into the alleged laundering of 125 billion CFA francs, according to information reported by L’Observateur. This hearing is a crucial stage in this multi-pronged case, which also involves influential actors from the world of business and administration. It also highlighted sophisticated money laundering mechanisms, notably through the use of shell companies. The charges include serious offences such as corruption, fraud and the abuse of social property.
