Jermaine Dupri, a songwriters house of fame, will pay homage to Quincy Jones, a renowned artist whose traces are etched in almost every genre of contemporary songs, from jazz and funk to hip-hop, soul, and pop, with a purposefully tailored set. The “ESSENCE Flowers” memorial, a QUINCY JONES JOINT, may take up artists whose own creations show how far his legacy has come. Artists whose collaborations and artistic choices reflect Quincy’s profound influence are featured in this genre-spanning efficiency. Tyrese, the R&amp, B leader, and Al B. the R&amp, B image, who appeared on a contemporary version of” Secret Garden. Confident!, who was a music legend’s mentor in his early years of career and who appeared on Quincy himself’s slow jam classic the first. Robin Thicke, a chart-topping singer who collaborated with Jones on a revised edition of” P. Y. T., glances to Quincy’s genius at blending genres. The platinum-selling trio SWV not only collaborated with Quincy directly on the smooth, groove-heavy track” Slows Jams,” but also famously flipped one of his most recognizable productions in their signature hit” Right Here ( Human Nature Remix )”. R&amp, B group Xscape, whose harmonies evoke Jones ‘ influence on vocal arrangement, also sampled Quincy’s work on the song” Keep On, Keepin’ On.” The Pharcyde’s influence extends far beyond dance, R&amp, B, and music, and it is evident in the DNA of hip-hop across generations and regions, thanks to West Coast rap legends Mobb Deep and Queensbridge legends Mobb Deep’s sampled his catalog.
