(BPRW) CBCF Launches New Innovation Leader Scholarship for Students Pursuing Careers in Engineering and Computer Science  

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. ( BPRW) is pleased to announce the launch of the Innovation Leader Scholarship for Students pursuing careers in engineering and computer science ( Black PR Wire ). This ground-breaking initiative aims to empower the next generation of various frontrunners in engineering and computer science to spur creativity and shape the direction of technology in the future. Five excellent rising sophomore, junior, and senior individuals pursuing degree in engineering or computer knowledge may receive financial aid through the Innovation Leader Scholarship. Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in an accredited college of engineering that is a member of the Advancing Minorities ‘ Interest in Engineering ( AMIE ) network. Alabama A&amp and M University are among the available institutions.

This program reflects CBCF’s determination to enhancing opportunities for underserved students in STEM fields. By supporting the development of a pipeline of Black talent who are ready to direct and develop in the technology sector, CBCF is building a pipeline of these individuals. This scholarship program, which is led by the CBCF, aims to promote equity in education and provide pathways to career success for students from historically Black colleges and universities ( HBCUs ) and minority-serving institutions ( MSIs ).
