The Order of Eastern Star at BHRP 25 – Theme: ‘Speak Truth to Power: Saying Nothing Is Not Acceptable.’ (Black PR Wire) The 51st Annual New York State Bethune/Height Recognition Program (BHRP) Luncheon is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM, to be held at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck, NY. More than 500 participants are anticipated to come together for an event focused on empowerment, networking, and honoring community contributions. This year’s theme, “Speak Truth to Power: Silence Is Not an Option,” underscores the ongoing commitment of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) to support African American women through advocacy, leadership, and social justice initiatives. Honorees will be recognized. At the luncheon, two NCNW affiliate organizations will be recognized for their exceptional leadership in the community. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. for its dedication to promoting the well-being of women, youth, and families via service and education.
