( BPRW) National Urban League and DoorDash Expand the Virtual Financial Empowerment Center with New Mobile App ( Black PR Wire ) NEW YORK – The National Urban League, in partnership with DoorDash, is proud to announce the expansion of the Virtual Financial Empowerment Center (VFEC ) through the launch of the VFEC App in April 2025. Since its release, the VFEC has offered personalized economic training and self-paced teaching opportunities that equip individuals and families with the knowledge and skills they need to reach financial security and create generational wealth. With the release of the software, access to economic empowerment resources may grow considerably, allowing program participants to engage with expert-driven financial literacy tools—anytime, everywhere. The wireless system will have curated, on-demand information, engaging short-form videos, and engaging lessons, meeting people where they are and equipping them with the information they need to understand their financial journey with confidence. ” Financial independence is key to thriving areas, and the VFEC software is a powerful resource in building the future we want to see for the persons that we serve”, said Marc H.
