The 28005th Annual Grand Cotillion, organized by Distinctively Her—a women’s empowerment program backed by the T.D. Jakes Foundation—will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Established by Serita A. Jakes, a prominent author and speaker dedicated to women’s empowerment, this debutante program mentors academically successful girls aged 10 to 17 through a comprehensive year-long curriculum emphasizing leadership, etiquette, and essential life skills. The Grand Cotillion signifies the completion of this transformative experience, honoring the poise, self-assurance, and qualities developed by each participant. This elegant gala unites debutantes, their families, and community mentors for a night of celebration. The occasion includes an official parade and a crowning ceremony for the Core Debutantes (aged 9213+ or those graduating), honoring their achievements in academics, community service, and moral character.
