Brighton goalkeeper matches an EPL achievement this season with a 3-0 victory against Chelsea.

Bart Verbruggen of Brighton and Hove Albion matched a Premier League record this season after aiding his team in a 3-0 victory over Chelsea on Friday night. The Seagulls dominated, scoring through Kaoru Mitoma and two goals from Yankuba Minteh. Verbruggen contributed to Mitoma’s first goal with a long kick that Mitoma skillfully controlled, dribbled past Trevor Chalobah, and finished into the net. With this, Verbruggen becomes the fifth goalkeeper to assist a Premier League goal this season, joining Ederson, Flekken, Pickford, and Leno, marking the highest number in a single season since 2010-11. Additionally, Brighton eliminated Chelsea from the Emirates FA Cup the previous Saturday.
