Brouille au sommet de l’Etat: Samba Ndiaye breaks the silence and regrets that he has not been able to speak.

During the installation of the Conseil national de Pastef, Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko publicly expressed his deep disagreement with President Bassirou Diomaye. Reacting to the exit of the Pastef leader, Samba Ndiaye, one of the allies of the head of state, regrets this incident and asks the Diomaye-Sonko tandem to make a show of grandeur to not precipitate the Senegal into a crisis. “What must be understood is that there are ups and downs in politics and the Diomaye-Sonko duo is a particular context like the case of Senghor and Mamadou Dia. The policy is thus made. But in these kinds of situations, only dialogue can solve the problems. They have sold to the Senegalese a dream, a slogan, ‘Sonko Moy Diomaye, Diomaye Moy Sonko’.
