Buni revalidates membership of APC as party chair meets Yobe lawmakers on grassroots mobilization

Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has revalidated his All Progressives Congress, APC, membership in the ongoing nationwide e-revalidation and registration exercise of the party.

In a statement through his Media Aide, Mamman Mohammed, the exercise was supervised by the State Chairman of the party, Alh. Mohammed Gadaka, in company of other state officials.

Buni called on members of the party to participate in the revalidation and registration exercise for documentation of their membership.

“Every member of the party should be registered or has his membership revalidated. No member should be disenfranchised.

“As the leading party in the state and Nigeria, we should justify this numerical strength through documentation of our membership” Buni advised.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, has called on party members across the state to actively participate in the ongoing APC e-membership registration and revalidation exercise, stressing that effective grassroots mobilisation and awareness creation are key to the success of the exercise.

Gadaka also urged residents of Yobe State to turn out en masse for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), noting that political participation remains vital to democratic consolidation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The state APC chairman made the call while meeting with members of the Yobe State House of Assembly at the Assembly Complex in Damaturu, where he briefed them on the progress of the APC e-membership registration and revalidation exercise by the party.

“I want to encourage our party leaders and stakeholders to not only participate actively in the ongoing e-registration exercise but to also step up mobilisation and awareness creation at the grassroots. At the same time, I urge the people of Yobe State to turn out massively for the Continuous INEC Voter Registration exercise,” Gadaka said.

The Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio, appreciated APC leadership and Governor Mai Mala Buni, for leading by example in the new membership registration exercise.

The honourable members unanimously declared their readiness to mobilise massive support at the grassroots to ensure the success of the APC e-membership registration exercise.
