Paul Ibe, media aide to former vice president Atiku Abubakar has likened Arise TV’s Rufai Oseni to Al Jazeera program anchor, Mehdi Hasan.
Ibe’s remark followed an exchange between Mehdi Hasan and President Bola Tinubu’s media aide, Daniel Bwala, on the popular Head to Head program.
During the program, several critical questions were put forward to Bwala but he tried very hard to dodge them, leading to a heated conversation with the interviewer.
Bwala also denied all critical comments he made against President Bola Tinubu before he was appointed.
DAILY POST reports that the interview has been generating reactions across the social media as netizens slammed him for allegedly embarrassing the country.
Reacting, Ibe in a post on X, said Mehdi Hasan’s roasting of Daniel Bwala has given Nigerians a better perspective of Arise TV show host, Rufai.
He wrote, “Love Rufai Oseni @ruffydfire, or hate him, Mehdi Hasan’s roasting of Daniel Bwala has given us a better perspective of Rufy as a broadcaster who got the memo to unearth these fraudsters and dogs who are not ashamed to eat their vomits. Every TV network needs a Rufai Oseni.”
