CAF appoints Moroccan official for Home Eagles vs Ghana match 

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Moroccan official Hamza El Fariq to serve as the center referee for the second leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier between Nigeria and Ghana. El Fariq will be supported by fellow Moroccans Abdessamad Abertoune as the first assistant, Zakaria Bouchtaoui as the second assistant, and Hicham Temsamani as the fourth official. Prince Kai Saquee from Sierra Leone will act as the commissioner, while Miboti Moise from the Democratic Republic of Congo will take on the role of referee assessor. The match is scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday. The first leg ended in a 0-0 draw, and the overall winners will qualify for CHAN 2024.
