The Confederation of African Football,CAF, has named Nigerian referee Yemisi Eunice Akintoye among 18 officials that will officiate at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.. Akintoye, who was bagged by the Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, in 2020 is a member of the Lagos State Football Referees Council.. The 30-year-old impressed at the preparatory course held in Cairo, Egypt last week.. The course involved extensive technical assessments, physical fitness tests, and decision-making evaluations under match-like conditions..
