NIGEL – Cambridge FC hosted Future Africa Academy at Duduza Stadium in the Hollywood Bets League on March 16 and put four away against their opponents.
Initially, the match was supposed to be at the MacKensieville Stadium, but because of rain and the grounds not being suitable for play, they moved to Duduza Stadium.
The last time the two teams played each other was in the first round of the league. Future Africa Academy then walked away as victors with a 2-0 score.
The Bridges were on a mission to bag all three points on offer to keep their hopes alive in the league – for promotion to a higher league.
Cambridge dominated from the starting whistle and kept possession of the ball. Cambridge opened their scoresheet in the 10th minute when Oupa Jnr Mbokazi tapped in the ball.
