Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said his team will do whatever it takes to overtake Arsenal in the Premier League title race, after beating them to the Carabao Cup.
Nico O’Reilly scored a brace at Wembley as City beat the Gunners 2-0, to claim the first piece silverware of the campaign.
But Guardiola’s men remain nine points behind Arsenal in the league, although they have a game in hand.
“I would love to be nine points in front to be honest. It’s in their hands,” Guardiola said.
“I, personally, need an incredible break. I’m exhausted. And after, we’ll see step by step.
“Dropping points against West Ham punished us a lot. But, we’ll try.”
