These families have recently returned to their lands after years of displacement due to conflict in the region. The “Shelter for Life” programme, supported by USAID, had been set up to provide them with a roof, but its interruption could condemn them to live in precarious conditions, even without shelter. A meeting was held on Wednesday 5 February 2025 in Ziguinchor.
