Chilliwack, B. C., RCMP is warning people to be aware of balcony thieves operating this holiday time. On surveillance video, the suspected criminals were riding an e-scooter through a neighborhood before stealing a offer from a balcony. Similar videos that appear to show the same suspects stealing many packages have since been posted online. On December 15, two suspects were spotted taking a distribution from a house in the Sardis neighborhood, according to RCMP. A worried neighbor approached the suspects, who police claimed later returned the offer without incident. Authorities have not identified the defendants.
