A new boost in the dossier triggered by the report of the National Financial Intelligence Unit (CENTIF). According to information from Seneweb, Ibrahima Ba, son of former Prime Minister Amadou Ba, has been placed in custody at the Division of Criminal Investigations (DIC). He was arrested as part of the judicial delegation ordered in the case involving Amadou Sall, son of former President Macky Sall, and singer Waly Seck. Interrogated the day before in the same case, the economic operator Saliou Sylla was kept under prolonged surveillance for the purposes of the investigation. The businessman is accused of suspicious transactions amounting to 5.5 billion CFA francs.
