CHAN 2024 qualifier: Home Eagles skipper Nduka vows to take on Ghana

Home Eagles captain, Junior Nduka, has conveyed the team’s resolve to win the second leg of their 2024 African Nations Championship qualifier against Ghana. Nduka mentioned that the players are eager to make up for Nigeria’s defeat to Ghana during the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Nigeria will take on the Black Galaxies at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday. “The last time I saw Ghana compete against Nigeria was in Abuja, and our stadium was damaged,” Nduka told Pan-Africa Football. “We remember how they caused us pain, and this time, we need to return the favor because we know what’s at stake.” We absolutely must win; there’s no room for compromise. “Our future is in our hands at this moment. We must qualify by any means necessary, and at the same time, we recognize the importance of having strong defense, since the best defense is to attack.
