After lifting the Club World Cup in the United States, Chelsea have called off plans to embark on an overseas pre-season tour.. In a statement issued on the club’s website, the London club will continue their pre-season training at Cobham and play friendlies against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan at Stamford Bridge in the VisitMalta Weekender.. Maresca’s side will face Leverkusen on August 8th before playing Italian giants AC Milan just two days later as they prepare for the 2025-26 season..
