Chelsea has joined Arsenal in the race to acquire Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP this summer. Arsenal recently met with Gyokeres’ agent in Lisbon to discuss signing the 26-year-old. Reports indicate that the Gunners have submitted a bid of £58.7m for his transfer and are prepared to offer him a five-year deal worth £110,000 per week. However, Portuguese news outlet Record has now revealed that both Chelsea and Serie A club Juventus have also reached out to the Swedish striker this week to inquire about his situation at Sporting. Gyokeres has made a strong impression at Sporting since moving there from Coventry City in 2023. Last year, he was rumored to be leaving the club but decided to remain for one more season. Now, with recent changes, the Swedish player faces a significant choice about his future with Sporting this summer.
