A New Britain, Connecticut resident allegedly on the run after a horrifying triple shooting where he killed his wife Bryana and seriously injured his mother-in-law.
Raye has since fled and is being sought after by regulators. He is apparently traveling to the Southern United States while operating a dark Chevy Silverado.
Around 3 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, New Britain officers were called to the scene of a triple shooting involving domestic violence on Prospect Street.
A woman was discovered by arriving officers to be indifferent and with multiple gunshot wounds. New Britain EMS attempted health care but, the lady, who was afterwards identified as 30-year-old Bryana Raye, was pronounced dead on the field.
Another adult victim was discovered by authorities as being shotgun-severed. She is now in critical situation and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The following victim has not yet been identified by regulators, but social media posts indicate that she is Bryana’s family. Officials claimed that the suspected shooter is well known to the patients and fled as soon as the shooting occurred.
Christopher Raye, who authorities believe is the assailant, was married to Bryana Raye. Authorities have not yet officially identified Raye as a think.
An angry close pal of Bryana shared pictures of Christopher on social media and demanded assistance in apprehending him.
She wrote:” ‼️PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT‼️ This is Christopher Raye of New Britain Connecticut, he is on the run after killing his wife and seriously injuring his mother in law!!! He is reportedly heading west! He drives a dark corvette silverado!!! Call the New Britain police office right away if you learn or notice anything about this man! SPREAD THIS MESSAGE EVERYWHERE‼️ ‼ ️”
